HeartSaver First Aid, CPR, AED

Service Description

We offer regularly scheduled Heartsaver classes, as well as individual one-on-one or private group sessions. Contact our office to reserve your class — not all openings are listed online. The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED Course teaches participants to respond to and manage emergencies until professional help arrives. Students will learn how to provide high-quality CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and deliver basic first aid care safely and effectively. This course reflects the latest AHA Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Course Topics Include: • How high-quality CPR improves survival • The AHA Chain of Survival • Recognizing when someone needs CPR • Performing high-quality CPR for adults • Giving effective breaths (mouth-to-mouth or mask) • Using an AED on adults and children • Performing CPR for children and infants* • Helping a choking adult, child, or infant* • Basic First Aid for medical and injury emergencies *Child and infant modules are optional add-ons. Please let us know if you’d like to include these in your class. All training materials are provided, and classes are kept small and interactive to ensure personalized instruction.
